The Village of France Industry Occitanie
This year, the Place de l'Industrie, the village of France Industrie Occitanie, will once again bring together 5 industrial sectors:
Food
Chemicals
Energy
Metallurgy
Textiles
It will welcome, by appointment, more than 650 schoolchildren (mostly middle and high school students) as well as job seekers, over the 3 days of the fair, in addition to the usual flow of visitors.
Following a storm, a small town was severely damaged and now needs rebuilding. The mayor convened the town council in the Place de l'Industrie to explore how industry could revitalize the village. He hopes to use these repairs as an opportunity to reindustrialize the village and thus gain national prominence!
Using touch-screen tablets, visitors, who will form small groups and act as the village council, will be able to talk with the villagers, understand their needs, and take action accordingly. They will travel from house to house, participating in various workshops and hands-on activities led by different industry sectors, to understand how to rebuild the village and integrate it into the era of Industry 4.0.
