INNOVATION AT YOUR SERVICE
PRODUCTIVITY
Founded in 1993 and based in Franche-Comté, ITB INNOVATION puts its sense of innovation and the excellence of its achievements at the service of its customers to develop custom clamping and clamping solutions for machining.
ITB clamping systems are designed around the workpiece to provide repeatable and powerful clamping without deformation. Compactness is also a hallmark of ITB products, enabling optimal machining processes.
According to Christophe Boiteux, the company's founding CEO, in recent years the massive introduction of robots in machining workshops and the 4.0 industrial revolution have been a tremendous driver of the company's development.
Automating part loading necessarily leads to automating positioning, clamping or tightening, as well as optimizing changeover solutions.
It is to support this industrial revolution that ITB Innovation is constantly developing its expertise by offering fully integrated solutions, from the hydraulic group to the clamping system, including the automation of clamping cycles and the integration of complex feeding devices.
From the preliminary design to the 3D study, from machining to assembly and the control of its products, ITB Innovation controls each step of the manufacturing process of its clamping systems and guarantees an extremely high degree of quality, repeatability and reliability.
ITB INNOVATION systems are designed to last and are present in more than 20 countries.
A short history lesson
1993
The ITB adventure began in 1993 when Christophe Boiteux invented and marketed a patented system: The Magic System.
This system, still on the market today, allows for the machining of wooden parts on CNC machining centers. From its inception, this efficient and economical device sold well and was exported throughout Europe.
During the following three years, ITB developed other innovative systems in parallel, such as:
• The left and right rotation machining tool.
• The suction cup table system.
1996
From 1996 onwards, ITB equipped its design office with a high-performance 3D CAD system: SOLIDWORKS.
ITB then leveraged its capacity for creation and innovation to enter the industrial tooling market, specializing in hydraulic clamping of parts. This activity became predominant and generated strong growth for the company.
To remain efficient and unique, ITB is developing several hydraulic clamping systems specifically designed to be integrated into various machining tools.
2004
Since January 2004, the company ITB Innovation has been located in the industrial zone of Autechaux, 5 km from Baume-les-Dames and close to the motorway (A36 exit Baume-les-Dames).
Franche-Comté's advantageous geographical location offers access to Germany, Switzerland and Italy, and also allows for working with foreign countries.

The process
Design and innovation
At ITB, innovation and the development of specific concepts are the two major elements at the heart of the development strategy.
Developing powerful and compact tailored solutions allows us to design specific modules that meet growing productivity needs.
The preliminary draft
From its inception, every project is subject to a specific and personalized 3D pre-study, enabling the search for optimized solutions.
Ongoing dialogue with the client allows for consideration of a maximum number of intrinsic project parameters and quality and productivity needs in order to provide the best solutions.
Methods and machining
We take the utmost care in processing our customers' orders.
After validation of the studies in collaboration with the client, then with our method engineers, the system plans will then be launched into production.
ITB relies on the extensive skills and expertise of its technicians. They define and execute the machining process to manufacture the product designed in the design office.
Assembly and fine-tuning
Assembly and fine-tuning represent two essential steps in the development and optimization of our systems.
These steps ensure a rapid start-up by minimizing start-up risks.
Our team of experienced technicians, assemblers, and fitters has all the technical skills, equipment, and logistics necessary to guarantee the quality of assembly and operation of our clamping systems.
Geometric and dimensional control
ITB Innovation guarantees the quality and care put into its products. Once tested and its operation validated, the clamping system is checked in three dimensions using a three-dimensional measuring machine installed in a dedicated climate-controlled room.
A test report is prepared and provided to the customer upon delivery. This assures them that the equipment is compliant and can be repeated in production.
Installation and start-up
When necessary, our technicians travel to clients' premises to install, adjust and train users on the operation of the speed limiter systems.
Our highly qualified and experienced technicians possess the best mechanical, hydraulic and electromechanical skills and ensure the commissioning of the most complex systems such as automatic coupling systems, feeding gantries and automated hydraulic units.
